New here, looking to lose weight and bulk up a bit

    I am 27, 6'3", 361lbs.

I weighed 215 in highschool and lifted 5 days a week for football. That was the last time I remember being able to bench more than my body weight.

After high school I was working 50 hours a week and going to school full time.

I just quit working out all together. I am trying to get myself back into it again. First I need to get some pounds off so that jogging doesn't hurt so much. I've been eating better, eating less, and walking at night (1.5 - 3) miles.

I belong to several other forums for my other hobby and they are full of supporting people that are a wealth of knowledge. I am hoping the same can be said for Iron Magazine Forums.

Hey man, good luck with your goals. There are plenty of people around here that care, just take the time to read the stickies (diet and training) and base all questions you might have around them and this board will take you far my friend.

    Welcome aboard!
