    Lightbulb Just saying hi...

My name is Shanna, I'm 25 married (my hubby is on here somewhere), live in TX. I'm 5'3 125lbs, muscular not fat. I'm currently training for a 1/2 Marathon in December. I'm mostly running, 4 days a week w/ one day a week lifting weights. I'm currently looking for a good diet that will help me stay lean, but give me plently of energy to do my long runs. Any suggestions?

Good, now go start a journal! Few things lead to success like a journal.

Very cool read.... Do you ever pack up on carbs before a run?
I find that I crash when I do that, but I am probably just grabbing the wrong carbs.

When I run in the A.M. I typically like to eat Watermelon (when it's available). It give tons of carbs/sugar for energy and is not heavy on my stomach. If I eat anything too heavy I get really bad cramps.
