I have let myself get way out of shape and now I need help to start the journey to reach my physical paramount.
I am 27 years old and Im currently 5'7 280 lbs. I want to begin a routine but there is just too much information out there that may brain just turns off.
I am getting a gym membership but when it comes to what I should do or how to do it.....Im retarded .......totally clueless.
I would like personal advice on what routine I should begin with to lose fat and gain muscle. I would also like tips on what supplements would be good for me and how much I should take.
Your help is greatly appreciated and thank you very much.
Well, to set something straight you cannot burn fat and gain muscle at the same time, so at 280lbs I'm guess the 1st thing you want to do is lose fat, so I'd recommend some ligth weight training and hit the cardio hard, about 4-5 times a week until you get to the weight you want to be, then I'd start trying to gain muscle and strength, and that's when I'd hit the weights hard.
And when trying to lose weight I'd say take a multi-vitamin and fix your diet. Cut out the pop compleatly and drink plenty of water and juices, getting in shape is basically a lifestyle change. Start eating right and when you start lifting load up on protein. And when trying to burn fat I'd stay away from carbs. That's all I can recommend, how you get there is up to you, which type of cardio and such and only you know your limits. Best of luck man sorry if I wasn't to much help.
