    Post MonStar's Training Log

I have been keeping a journal for as long as I can remember with all of my meals and supplements and all of that in it. I have decided that as part of me keeping things simple I am going to cut it back some. From now on I am only going to post my workouts, and just a few comments about my diet and sleep and supplements. I am not going to go through all of the detail that I have in my past journals.

I am focusing on keeping this journal, for good. And I think that part of keeping a journal for good is keeping it as simple as possible, etc.

Trying to keep this journal for good? Don't get ahead of yourself. I think new journals are good sometimes...

I would kill for Nautilus equiptment

What's funny is I don't even know what half of the exercises people talk about are
"in the howling bleeding nights, the dogs plunge into the Volga and swim desperately to gain the other bank. The nights of Stalingrad are a terror for them. Animals flee this hell; the hardest stones cannot bear it for long; only men endure."

Yeah some of the Nautilus stuff was great. In my old gym we had the pullover machine and it was very effective. I forget, wasn't Arthur Jones one of the first proponents of HIT?

As far as HIT is concerned, Jones is the godfather

CowPimp: Well just keep something simple that I don't end up wanting to change all the time, etc. I just end up getting so caught up in the details of everything I lose track of what is important. I am just focusing on posting my workouts, and keeping my journal updated, and that's about it.

DD: Damn that sucks man, I love a couple Nautilus machines. Especially pullovers, lateral raises, and pec-deck flyes.

JerseyDevil: Hey man, I completely agree that the pullover machine is an excellent addition to a back routine. I absolutely love pullovers.

Good luck in here. And congrats on that 100lb DB PB! That's pretty awesome. As far as new journals, IMO it's good to do a new journal every few months. That way new people are more likely to visit a newer journal than one with 50pages already.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
