Audience of One

Hey everybody this is my new journal that Im going to try to keep. It will be mostly bodybuilding stuff Im going to try and not branch off too much. First, a History lesson about me. I first started caring about what my body looked like in grade school because I was the tall skinny kid. So I locked myself in our utility room and pumped my dads old plastic weight, I dont remember the poundage but I was told to go light because I was still growing. Then I began to get this little baseball bulge in my arm. I liked it so I continued. In 7th grade my friend had these ripped abs that I wanted! So I did situps and stuff he told me to do but my nieve self knew nothing about diet. So I fooled myself for a few years untill I had a hernia surgery that made me watch what I ate. I had a health class 9th grade year that told me whatever cals. you dont use will get converted to fat. This, I know now isnt totally true but I thought it was so with my surgery I knew that my b.m was like 1600 so I barely ate. Then I recovered from surgery and continued eating the same low cal diet. I had the abs but I only weighed 135lbs! at 5'10''! Then my hoops and football coach said you need to bulk baby! So I reasearched and asked questions much like you probably have done and now I am a solid 175lbs, my bench has gone up 70lbs, my squat about 200lbs and my clean 100lbs. The progress is what keeps me going. Nobody can dictate my outcome but myselft. That is why I love bodybuilding. Thanks for reading any comments and encouragement is welcome!
