    Shin's Journal

    Well this is my first journal and i'm trying to gain mass and strength this summer for football

    My stats are:
    Weight:210
    Height:5'11''
    Bench: 280
    Incline Bench: 250
    Squat: 470
    Hang Clean: 280
    Not sure about BF but its in the lower mid-teens.

    Goals:
    Weight: 225
    Bench: 315
    Squat: 500
    Clean: 300

    Diet
    Its hard for me to control what I eat during the day because my mom cooks most of the meals, thats going to be a struggle. I take 5g of Creatine post-workout, 2 fish oil caps after break lunch dinner, 40g of whey protein post-wkout, 20g pre-wkout, 40g before bed.

    My workout yesterday consisted of:

    Incline Bench:3x8, 165, 175, 185
    Flat Dumbell Bench:3x8. 70, 80, 90
    Push-Press: 3x8, 135,155,165
    Seated Rows: 3x8, 140,150,160
    Lat Pull FRG: 3x8, dont know weights goes by numbering system
    Assisted Pullups supersetted with 30,25,20 pushups: 3x15
    Tris using rope on lat pull machine: 3x8
    Tris using straight bar on lat pull: 2x8
    Tris using EZ Bar (skull crushers): 2x10, 60, 80
    Dumbell Flies: 2x10, 25,30
    dips: 2x10, 25,25

    30 sets in one day? That seems a little excessive, 12-18 is ideal from what I've read. 18 is sometimes even considered to be a little high.

    yeah its kind of our School Football workout. It's kind of set in stone really, the coaches supervise
