personally.. if DOMS and lactic buildup are not too severe, go for it. I am no expert, but run a similar routine for upper body push exerscises.. just les reps, i go 6x3, but thats my demented body. everyone is different, as will their workouts be

Bench Press
Flat 10 set 8 set 6 set 4 set
Incline 10 set 8 set 6 set 4 set
Decline 10 set 8 set 6 set 4 set
3 sets of 10 cable crossover
Machine Flys 3 sets of 8
I would usually do this Monday and Friday
