Uninspirational Journal
My Journal.
I will have various posts about diet, nutrition, exercise, my opinions, etc. I hope to make it as entertaining as possible, but I really plan on turning this into more of a blog than anything else. A lot of people probably dont know me, but I used to post on here regularly. I dont plan on doing shows or anything in particular, but plan on training to be as big, strong and lean as humanly possible. I have done nearly every major program available over the past 5 years of my training, and have discovered more than anything, that no matter what style I use, lifting as heavy as possible while trying to improve every single time in the gym is the most important protocol you can concern yourself with as far as what you do in the gym. Everything else (reps, rest times, volume, etc) is secondary. I think diet is universally underrated, major supplement brands overrated and and personal trainers idiots. I am 28 years old, six foot three, weigh about 269lbs and have around 16 percent bodyfat. I would eventually like to see that bodyfat around ten or eleven percent. Workout schedule is mon/tue thur/fri. I am using moderate volume which is HIGH for me, seeing I am traditionally very low volume. Friday's workout was a good one. I went with a friend to Bally's which is something I rarely do, seeing that I really think most traditional gyms are crappy. Along with the fact I cant stand watching pretty boys pander around the machines all day in basketball shorts and 50 dollar ambercrombie cutoffs. Back/Biceps Chins (weighted with a 45lb around my belt) 1) x 6 2) x 4 3 ) x 4 Bent Barbell Rows 1) 325 x 6 2) 325 x 6 3) 325 x 6 T/Bar Rows 1) 8 x 45 x 6 reps 2) 8 x 45 x 6 reps Barbell Curls: 1) 165 x 6 2) 165 x 5 Dumbell Curls: 1) 70 x 6 Good workout. Post workout shake: 50grams whey 2 grams beta alanine 5 g creatine 5 grams bcaa's 1 gatorade
