Today while driving I almost hit a lady crossing the street too busy to look text messaging, she never looked up.

Oh I know, ever see those people texting while driving on the freeway, scary.

My wifey used to carpool with this one jerkoff who used to do this and he would always veer left and right out of his lane. She told me this so now she doesn't carpool anymore.

In Colorado it's going to be illegal to "text while driving' starting in December, I just don't understand how they will be able to enforce it.

It has been illegal to use your phone while driving for some time over here. Not that many people get caught, but the police do watch for people doing it the same way they watch for people speeding. You get 3 penalty points and a £60 fine if caught.

More importanly if you are involved in an accident they will check your phone records and if they find it that your were using your phone at the time they will prosecute you. If you injur/kill someone while you were using your phone you really are fucked.

I don't twitter, but some people don't have skillz with teh textoring!

You gotta read fast and type mostly without looking, which means no touch screens (HTC Touch Pro, although I like the Q9c keyboard better).

I don't understand the point of Twitter, I created an account awhile back but just don't really see it being worthwhile.

I do like Facebook though, but I hate Myspace.

I hate that. I especially hate when people are jay walking and just stroll along because they know no one's gonna be stupid enough to actually hit them.

Some lady did that one time, through a fairly busy intersection in the middle of the day with lots of cars. She basically stopped traffic and fucked shit up for everyone and was just strolling across like she was Queen fucking Elizabeth. I was driving my 328is, 5 speed back then so I rolled up pretty close to her, revved to 5-6k rpm, dumped the clutch and did a stand still burnout just as she was right next to my car. The reaction was hilarious, I've never seen anyone move so fast lol. She would've probably taken the gold medal at the Olympics for the 100m dash if she kept that pace. The people around were all cracking up and the car next to me gave me the thumbs up lol.

Twitter is blogging for less interesting people like Aston(Ashton?) Kucher?, I read blogs of writers/poets who can string a few paragraph's together, I couldn't imagine what braindead celebs would put in their blogs.....

In the big picture, the only utility of Twitter is its Search feature. It will give you a nice sample size at any given moment of the internet's opinion on any given topic. Think of stock-trading, for example.
