N. Korea celebrates the July 4th with USA...

....and all this time I thought they were arrogant nuts, boy was I wrong. That was pretty nice of them to share there fireworks.

In apparent 4th of July message of defiance, North Korea reportedly fires seven missiles off coast

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea fired seven ballistic missiles off its eastern coast Saturday, South Korea said, a violation of U.N. resolutions and an apparent message of defiance to the United States on its Independence Day.
The launches, which came two days after North Korea fired four short-range cruise missiles, will likely further escalate tensions in the region as the U.S. tries to muster support for tough enforcement of the latest U.N. Security Council resolution imposed on the communist regime for its May nuclear test.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said three missiles were fired early Saturday, a fourth around noon and three more in the afternoon. The Defense Ministry said that the missiles were ballistic and are believed to have flown more than 250 miles (400 kilometers).

All people keep talking about is the missiles that North Korea fired. But no one is talking about what they were fired at (if anything) or were they are landing? That is what I want to know.

It's like a toddler trying to see how far they can go before an adult puts them in check, problem is they are more like a 50 year old retard with the mind of a toddler......

NK's missile capabilities are decades behind the rest of the world...while they do have nuclear capabilities, their platform deliveries are still stuck in the 50s

And look at response. Particularly by the US. Kim Jong Il is having a laugh.

I remember the July 4th 2006 launches and the Americans were in a tizzy. New networks had "experts" yelling on TV.

Many said, "we gotta take 'em out." And "Bomb them!"

And this launch is just another laugh.

Kim Jong Il and the NK regime is rotten and twisted, but they aren't dumb enought to attack and see and experience the end of their regime, power, and lives.

If NK did collapse or be overthrown, it would massively hurt the South Korean economy and Won (currency) that would have to deal with it the most.

I am betting their guidance systems are severely lacking as well. Who knows.......I believe these were SCUD misiles and we all know how accurate those were from the First Iraq War......

Here's a news report out of DPRK....

Cases of Aerial Espionage against DPRK on Steady Increase
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppets desperately perpetrated aerial espionage against the DPRK in June by mobilizing strategic and tactical reconnaissance planes with various missions, according to a military source.

On June 28 the U.S. imperialist aggression forces' overseas-based E-3 and RC-135 made shuttle flights in the air above the waters east of Orang, Musudan and Riwon on the East Coast and on June 10 and 12 they made similar flights in the air above the waters east of Musudan, Hamhung and Thongchon to perpetrate aerial surveillance and photographing and electronic reconnaissance against all areas of the DPRK.

On June 25 Japan-based E-3 flew in the air above the area of south Korea to command flying corps of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces and the puppet air force and to spy on areas of the DPRK. On June 10 EP-3 made a long flight to commit electronic reconnaissance against coastal and front areas of the DPRK.

On June 29 south Korea-based U-2 made shuttle flights from the east to the west all day long to spy on the DPRK. The number of cases of aerial espionage perpetrated by this plane reached 27 this month and more than 140 in the first half of this year.

On June 24 and 25 the U.S. imperialists let 15 reconnaissance planes of different types including U-2, RC-12, RC-7B, and E-3 fly in the air above areas along the front and coastal areas to spy on the DPRK.

The number of cases of aerial espionage perpetrated by RC-12 and RC-7B of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces against the DPRK reached more than 80 this month and at least 450 this year.

Keeping pace with these spy missions, the warmongers of the south Korean puppet forces let two or three RC-800 and RF-4C make shuttle flights day and night every day from the air over the areas along the front on the West Coast to the air over the areas along the front on the East Coast to intensify the espionage against the areas of the DPRK.

The U.S. imperialist aggressor forces committed more than 110 cases while the south Korean puppet army at least 90 cases in June, bringing the total number of cases of aerial espionage against the DPRK to more than 1,100 cases in the first six months of the year.

I went to their news agency this morning and their Anti-Imperialist Propaganda Machine is full-bore. They decided that all South Koreans want the US presence out because one Professor in Seoul wrote something about how the Korean Unification is the best way to end this whole mess.......it's like reading a chapter out of 1984 or Brave New World......

Yup, in order to help celebrate our independence day N. Korea fired scud missiles. Those things are equivalent to bottle rockets. You point them in the direction you want them to travel, set them off and wherever they go they go.

I believe we pretty much do that now...massive sanctions. The crazy little mofo just wants money...so he 'rattles his saber'...and hopes that we'll give him some.
what I find more annoying is why it is us, the US that has to deal w/ this fuq tard. He's a wold annoyance, force the UN to actually do something...
As I understand, NK and China aren't particularly friends, have China get involved and swing their guns in his direction. They are the ones making all the $$...let them spend some of it.

I would disagree about ignoring them all together...we spend billions in espionage and counterfeit enforcement in NK.
