Time to post a poll!!!!

Ok, heres the situation...

A girl is interested in me at work and has constantly been hitting on me. I gave her my number and weve been txting ever since.

She wants to spend time with me, but because she works with me,

I dont think its smart. Tonight, I end up going out to where shes going.

Were out, shes hot and were getting along. I turn my head to talk to my friends and next thing I know, this fucking ex-whatever walks up and crowds her.

She actually responds to this with a little affection.

So what do I do?

The reason for the the thread....

"Well Lindsey, were going to the bar to have fun. You can stay here with this cock sucker."

The fucking guy ends up taking off his shirt and starts saying hell do this and hell do that. And the whole time I am thinking....hmm, I didnt come here with her and she pulled a shitty move, so should I run with this? Or chance getting arrested for battery a 3rd time.

Instead, I stayed back while 3-4 guys walked up and said "hey man, youll knock his teeth out....I dont know why hes doing it...etc" One guy even squeezed my arm

to see how big I was compared to this....male.

When I got home, I deleted her off of facebook and myspace, but not before saying something along the lines of "hey we work together, lets interact only when we must."

SO! My question is...

Would you have done what I done? Or just walked away?

There was about a full 2minutes of me thinking about just saying fuck it. However, I thought the aftermath with my other friends wouldve been worse than a scrawny wigger taking off his shirt, getting mad, while I kept my cool.

It was one of those periods where you hadnt fucked a girl yet and you believed that she was single.

When I say "walk away" I mean, walk away until shes done with him. Why? Cuz her friend was talking to my friend and he was my ride. So in essence, I couldnt have avoided her until my friend wanted to leave himself.

I didnt really get upset about it, I felt awkward. I remember giving myself credit as the kid was getting all heated up. I was thinking, holy shit this is hilarious and this kid's night is ruined. So I actually wanted the torture to keep going.

Let me tell you something, that shit NEVER made me feel good, lucky, brave, or secure. The one time I DID just hit first and ask questions later, I felt reborn. I felt like a fucking male. I made sure to NEVER give stock advice like that to anyone else.

it seems she has the ability to affect your decision making process which might not be good in a competitive work situation, especially if things go south. and in this economy it's easier to fing a new club than a new job.

if you genuinely like her and think things could really get serious maybe tell her how ya feel and see if you can work past all the mind games.

all of you hanging out together is cool but imo if you're going to clubs where the hot chick to male ratio is 3 to 1... time to step, that club is bunk. at that point there was nothing wrong with you enjoying the company of a fresh new vibrant thing yourself. of course i haven't had a date since the berlin wall came down.

Anyway, let the biyotch be, there are plenty more out there that are way more mature, and play far less games. I suppose the night after the altercation, I reflected a bit, hence the thread. However, Kel reminded me of how my life was in high school. Though this entire story may seem childish, I no longer feel as if I over did anything nor was robbed.

-I didnt beat up the wigger.
-I havent called her since.
-Shes re-friend requested me and was denied.
-I stood my ground, verbally.

Id say thats the closest I could go for a win-win scenario.

Anyway, I am glad you guys' enjoyed the thread.
