How did you guys and gals come up
with your Iron Magazine names/nicknames?

For me,
Chest Rockwell was the name of a character in the movie
Boogie Nights.
And
My chest sucks so on chest days I tell myself to
rock my chest well.

How and why did you guys pick your names?

Why the two together? So many people just call me Hammer..including my parents! So it just kinda fit......

All my other syblings have a middle name except me!!!!! So when I was only very very young......they felt sorry for me and gave me one instead!!!! Turns out, its after one of the fairies in Cinderella!!!!

My first name is Robert but I've always gone by my middle name of Allen. People got confused so often I just combined the two.

Real name is 'Will' so I've heard ironwill often enough, but that would be pretty lame for a title, unfortunately I was unable to think of anything but ironwill at the moment and I'm glad that the word 'time' came into my head before I took the commitment

MMA is short for Mixed Martial Arts and then I added Fighter at the end, but decided to spell it wrong to be different. Hence, mmafiter.

hehe, before you posted the thread for W8 as 'cagemaiden' on the MMA site I used to think that MMA was some sort of reference to the site 'musclemag' and you added fiter to show that you hated them, oops

I thought "Irontime" was a reference to being ready for the gym anytime, as in "what time is it? Irontime!"

I got the nickname "Dave the Wonder Pony" at a party after talking about a Jerry Springer episode where this guy lets women ride him like a horse and they get off on it (Danny the Wonder Pony)...you can build the party scene from there...I gave a lot of "rides" that night while trashed out of my skull.

I shortened it b/c I didn't want to have the same name on every board I post on.

I got mine from Robert Jordans Wheel of Time books. A fade/halfman is a creature like the 9 from LOTR but they can desolve into shadows and they have no eyes.
