Well the history I learned must be alot different to the history you learned because from the time hundreds of irish emigrated to america in the 19 hundreds during the great famine including some of my relatives they all seemed to be able to support their families back in Ireland from the money they earned working on building sites etc.
My father has been to America numerous times in the past few years and all he has got from Americans was kindness and love.
Also your own president Obama has relatives in Donegal

History would mean the past.

Despite what you might read in the papers, he received kindness and love because he was a PERSON. Not an Irish person, simply a person. We're not nearly the racist animals we're portrayed to be.

I dont think ill be reading more history any time soon Im sick of learning stuuf in school all year and anyway Im not taking advice from someone who is not fully educated in the subject.Its true you could no more about American/Irish history than me but until you have a degree in History from a university I think ill stick to listening to the people who are qualified.
