simple answer...the best is teh one that you like the best that you can utilze to the best of your ability.
There really isn't one better than the other.
I believe it depends on the person using it?

I don’t want to say one it better than the other. The simple fast is that martial arts is as good as the practitioner. You don’t practice then you rusty it’s not just going to your school for one hour and doing 20 reps of whatever they thought you. Go home and do the same thing a 100 time till it’s just comes out natural, don’t get it yet next day a 100 more reps shiat do 300 if u need to. And just keep practicing, a few things are easy to lose if you are not consistent with your training, reps is the key here the more u do it the better. Only IMO if I was in to chose I would chose something that has to do with grabbling, something related to close combat like Judo, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing etc. What I do it Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do it’s not the traditional Tae Kwon Do it’s more like a freestyle system, we learn grabbling, submissions thing that are not so usual about the traditional form. Just chose something you like and enjoy cuz is gona be a long time commitment man

    Hoo Flung Dung is an extremely effective martial art. The whole system revolves around the art of taking the perfect shit! I don't see many practitioners anymore but I have learned a few of the kata (forms) such as;

Yu Stin Ki Pu (You stinky poo)
Sum Dum Fuk (Some dumb Fuck)
Wai U Shao Ting (Why you shouting, the constipation kata)
Kweer da Woom (Clear the room)

    good stuff, mmafiter!
Was wondering if / when you'd make a coment!

You really have people come up to you in the gym and 'challenge' you like that?
Damn, I do believe in the saying of: becareful of the quiet ones....'
the ones who are loud and boisterous are verbally telegraghing that they can / think they can fight, so you can prepare for that...the quiet ones...you don't kow what they know....very unpredictable.

But you gotta pick one that's got decent groundwork:
almost all fights end up on the floor ...

I'm a shootfighter, and if would have to pick "styles" (as in: real martial "arts",
it would be jiu jitsu or kempo karate).

then again, anybody at my "school" can probably pin down
boxers, kickboxers and taekwondoka within 15 seconds ..
    because, frankly, .. kicking/hitting just doesn't cut it ..

I suggest taking a look at Hapkido. It involves everything, from kicks, Strikes, locks, throws, floorwork (grappling) weapons (classical and improvised) and meditation to keep you grounded and not so big headed.

I can't, but maybe my friend who has a satellite dish can pick it up. Thanks for the heads up, I'm hoping it's gonna be a good show.

You can check out this site for some more info, though I can`t find any televised times.

    http://www.k-1usa.net/html_documents...e/homepage.asp

Kinda pissed at the main event though....it was originally advertised as Bernardo vs LeBanner and that would have been a blood bath I dunno why, but LeBanner is now out and Gary Goodrich is in.

A side note for mmafiter....did you hear Sakuraba is making a comeback....I think it`s next week. He`s going to be fighting that K-1 fighter that beat all the pride fighters he`s fought, other than the last one he had with Silva ( his name sounds like kurocop )............I`d love to watch it but it`s PPV and it`s cost about C$65.00 A bit too much just for TV....shit, when I went to K-1 I paid less than that from a scalper for a damned close seat!!!!! I`ll wait the few weeks for the video to come out :o !!!

Yeah, that's CroCop that fought Silva. I really enjoy watching Sak, but I don't know if his striking is good enough to fight Crocop by thier rules. Sak makes for interesting fights, so you never know though. I remember the first time I saw him was when he fought Conan Silvera, and I thought he was gonna be killed, but he beat Silvera pretty convincingly!

Then when he was spanking one of the Gracies during thier fight, I was laughing my ass off, although if I was a Gracie I'd want to kill him.
