Thread: the ultimate joke

I guess the abc bashing got me worked up against another board that has the same problems that is musclemagazine.com


I was censored alot there for saying nothing reduntant, racist, or promoting any other board or product.


I had about 7 posts deleted and I was also banned

Now reading there policy i feel even more angry.



We, as moderators, under the direction of the administration serve this site, free of charge, to keep it clean and running smoothly. In order to do this, it is necessary to delete, edit or lock any threads or posts that intentionally flame someone, or unnecessarily start unwanted bashing of any group or person. To many times throughout the past year a board has gone down because the flaming and bashing was allowed to go unchecked. That will not happen here. This site is intended to inform and educate all its members and guests, as well as provide a community where people can express their thoughts and opinions while building strong friendships. For this site to maintain this sort of community, it is necessary that the "limited" deletions, editings, and lockings of threads occur.

A thread is NEVER deleted in an attempt to censor anyone's opinions or views. A moderator does not allow his/her personal views or feelings to govern whether or not a thread is closed or selectively deleted. However, most of us mods have been around for quite some time, and understand as well as realize when a thread will head down the path to flaming and bashing. This is why certain threads are locked early on in the process. What you see as censorship, we understand as a necessary consequence in order to maintain the integrity of this site. When a thread is deleted early, it is most likely because the topic has been posted on numerous occasions in the past and has led to the exact same result each time. Please understand that there is NEVER an attempt to censor ANYONE'S views or opinions, only an attempt to keep this site clean and running smoothly.

Any thread or post that is deemed to have offensive language will be edited immediately, and if the offensive language continues, the thread will ultimately be closed and/or deleted. If the person posting the offensive language continues to do so, they will be issued a warning, after which they will have one more chance to keep it clean before their account is deleted, PERMANENTLY. Everyone must realize that this is an "open and public forum", and therefore we have a wide variety of individuals who frequent this site. So, what you might not find offensive, others will. For the most part, this is a judgment call of the mods, but each and every mod has the necessary judgment to realize when a word or phrase may become offensive or derogatory to another person or group. Just as the "N word" is used frequently among the black community as an expression of unity and brotherhood, the "f*g word" is used among the homosexual community as an expression of the same thing. This in NO WAY makes either of these words appropriate for use by someone outside of these sections/communities. This is because the words were invented by individuals who were not a part of these communities as a derogatory way of referring to someone who was different. Therefore, when anyone outside of these communities uses these words it takes on the offensive meaning to which it was originally intended. This is why these words, along with others that fall within this context, will be edited or deleted immediately.


Any body got anything to say? If u feel the same way I do say so. And if you feel I am jerk say so. I am not afraid too argue and go against the grain and so should other people without fear of getting banned from IM or other boards.

Sooner or later I'll start looking at the age of a post before I take it seriously. Thanks Cat
