I thought the article was interesting. It's like we go to the gym to release the caveman in us. I think each of us are capable of far more than we imagine. Take Fetus for example, albeit with help, he is grasping a new skill he never had before.

Yes but could those brawny fast troglodytes maneuver a car at 120mph, or fly a jet at Mach speed. As our brains got better and we started using tools instead of brute strength the need for calorie consuming extra muscle went too....

That and the need to choose a physically capable mate went too. Add to that, that people let themselves go. A fat ass early man certainly would dumb down his mate selection. Bottom line in my mind is that mate selection changed. This might be a stretch but I'd say in general mate selection changed first in Asia, then Europe then Africa, LOL.

Most people are wimps. Not so much just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. And that is the worlds biggest problem. We're too weak and soft to just use the death penalty on murderers and rapists. "We can't kill him. All he did was fuck that little girl in the ass and then beat her with a rock.' No we'd rather pay to keep a peice of shit like that alive for fifty years than just be man enough to throw his ass in the chair.
