+1 one Conan's pretty funny. Leno was caught sucking off small horses behind the set. Ive seen the incriminating photos

I never understood the Conan thing. I think he's funny, but his type of humor is completely different from Leno. Kind of hard to replace on type of humor that had a successful following on the Tonight Show with a completely different kind.

Jay Leno tackled the buzz about his show going bye-bye last night in his monologue.

"As you may have heard, there's a rumor floating around that we were cancelled," Leno said. "I heard it coming in this morning on the radio. So far, nobody's said anything to me."

"If we did get canceled, it would give us time to maybe do some traveling. In fact, I understand FOX is beautiful this time of year," he cracked.

"I don't think there is any truth to the rumors. See, it's always been my experience that NBC only cancels you when you're in first place, so we're fine!" he joked.

I love Conan but his show has changed too much since he took over for Jay. It seems like he doesn't enjoy it as much.

Conan O'Brien: I will leave the 'Tonight Show' if it follows Jay Leno at 12:05 a.m.

Read more: Conan O'Brien: I will leave the 'Tonight Show' if it follows Jay Leno at 12:05 a.m.
In a lengthy statement released Tuesday afternoon, the pompadoured comic said that wasn't an option for him, drawing a line in the sand.

"I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it," O'Brien said.

"My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction."

He said moving the show to follow a half-hour of Leno would "seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting."

"'The Tonight Show' at 12:05 simply isn't 'The Tonight Sho
    w.'"

well im glad and not glad at the same time he didn't let them move his show back. And yeah conans group of fans and lenos are too different things. I love conan- he's an absolute genius. But i know his humor isn't mainstream enough for most people. I think he just can't compete w/ Letterman who can suck my balls but anyways. A 30 mins leno show sounds stupid

    Quotes from Conan last night

“Hello, my name is Conan O’Brien and I may soon be available for children’s parties … No, seriously, welcome to NBC where our slogan is ‘No longer just screwing up prime time.’”
“When I was a little boy I remember watching The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and thinking, some day, I’m going to host that show for seven months.”
    LOL kudos to him.

Why can't Leno retire and let the new kid step in, did Carson linger with his own show when he quit? No! he let Jay take over and left him alone..... Conan's comedy is cooky, young, off the wall, old folks I guess just aren't getting him...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
