So a baby seal walks into a club...

Eek. That looks like what we got the other week. This one now is coming down pretty good but not sticking to the roads at all. They expect as the evening goes on for it to get pretty slippery out there. I should have went in today. Then I could have taken tomorrow off. Damnit!

LOL! Same here.. all the roads are blacktop but everything else got 8 inches on it. Unfortunately, theres no way of knowing it's gonna turn out that way. And if you try to brave the elements, you still got to hope 8 hours later you can get home! It's a crap shoot.

I'm gonna go in tomorrow. At least it's Friday. It just sucks I have to burn a sick day for today. I guess I could make it up on Saturday but who wants to do that...

We are getting tons of rain today, it's over 40 degrees Fahrenheit. 75% of the snow in those pictures is now melted. This rain we are getting now was forecasted to be snow, it would have been a lot.

I'm glad though, this means the gym will likely be open tomorrow.

It got down to a bonechilling 71 here
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

All it has done here is rain. We've had like two storms where we got a couple of feet but that was it all winter. The snow is almost all gone here.

Well, overnight it tapered off a little here... but the ridiculous winds made drifts three feet tall! I would go out there to shovel but it's snowing like mad again!!
They're telling us to expect another foor to 16 before it's over.

Time to shovel. Got around 7 inches here. A few miles away got up to 2 feet though.

You must be in western MA. I was in the eastern part and all we got for two days was heavy rain. And you don't have to shovel rain.
