    Chromium

Chromium is the open source version of the Google Chrome browser. It runs on Linux, Mac, and Windows.

I just started using it. Until now, if was too early in development for Linux, but it's gotten quite usable as of late.

It finally has working extensions. I use the ad block extension, but it's still not as flexable as the Firefox version. There doesn't appear to be a good tab extension, such as Tab Kit for Firefox. XMarks works on it. So, in terms of extensions, it's almost, but not quite, there.

But the rendering... Damn, is it fast! On this alone, I reccomend that you give it a try.

    It even supports "application mode."

For those of you wondering why I don't just use Chrome: It's made by a large corporation and I don't trust large corporations (or even small ones). The more that I can do to maintain my privacy, the better.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Sounds cool, I'll wait for more extenstions and then install it, that's what I love about FireFox....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Same here. And Chromium is just about there.

I'm not hyper sensitive about privacy. I want a faster browser, but not one built by a company known for collecting data about people.
