anything that keeps me intense... i tend to listen to hip hop mixtapes but i like just about all genres of music..

I like heavy rock and metal, and some death metal when I train, and I like it very LOUD!!!
My current favorite is Nickleback. But my iPod is loaded with pretty much everything that's hard, fast and LOUD.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???
if it aint LOUD theres no sense in playing it!! lol! im wit you on that! i like to drown out the lames talkin instead of working...

Metal and nothing else will do in the gym. Hatebreed is one of my favorites to work out to.
If god were suddenly condemned to live the life which he has inflicted on man, he would kill himself.

Each of you who said you like rock should check into (im sure you heard of but there most recent stuff) three days grace (new cd), breaking benjamin (just a elite group), and some avenged sevenfold
"Train like God is watching"

Anything on my Ipod.
Tool, Bjork, Radiohead, Daft Punk, the list goes on.
Sinister is a very pro guitar player. He's no Randy Rhodes or Kirk Hammet ,but has lots of talent.
"Train like God is watching"
Air Supply, anything by Barry Manilow or Abba.
Obama/Ayers 2012!!!
I forgot to mention Richard Simmons.

Griegs - Heart of A Poet
Lifting has become my meditation time, especially since I'm working on super-slow sets as an experiment....everything is smooth. slow, deliberate and I force even harder than the weight really is....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

you girl on my knob while we are working out in your bed
If you strike me down(ban me)I'll become more powerful than ever.. Don't say i don't warn you.
I listen to seminars that I have ripped to mp3. Lately I have mostly been listening to content on entrepreneurship and internet marketing.
I like listening to female tennis players play.
Or, metalica, nickelback, Korn, rage, nin, muse, ra...anything with a bit of aggressiveness in it. Unfortunately, I own my gym, so I really dont get to listen to my music-I need to be social to my members.

Every metal head should hear this song. Definitely one of my favorites to work out to.
If god were suddenly condemned to live the life which he has inflicted on man, he would kill himself.

I listen to Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Seether, and many good single songs from multiple bands. I absolutely BLAST my music too. It eliminates all outside distractions and pumps me up so much. Loud music is almost as important as taking a pre-work out product when I lift.
Disturbed, Muse, Metallica, NIN, Peter Gabriel (I like the German versions), Hinder, Linkin Park, Seether, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Mad Russian Christmas is cool), Rammstein.
... and Lady Gaga.
Shut up.
I have a kid.

Somehow in my years here I don't remember you talking about Cannibal Corpse and others
For me I have to admit to listening to some techno, usually for cardio. For lifting its almost exclusively thrash, death, or select Beastie Boys/Cypress Hill songs. Oh yes, LMFAO is good at times.
I'm pretty sure I've already nuked some of my hearing, so I try to keep the volume reasonable until RIGHT before my set - then I go into battle mode.

Some current favorites:
(Ice T guest ~1:30)
(love the guitar 'solo')
(solo is sick)
(I use the intro of this one to get psyched)
(lost track of these guys ages ago)
(so many great hard songs)
(once a GREAT band)
So many, but alas I must rest. You can probably tell I like songs that have a break, and then an epic wind-up then BOOM in your face, time for your set.

Classical....Oh, and Polka. I especially like the Chicken Dance tune....very motivating.![]()
