    Palin and McCain, Together Again

Sarah Palin and John McCain were back in the political saddle Friday - only this time the hockey mom rode in wearing black leather.

Palin turned heads with a sporty, zippered motorcycle jacket - adorned with an American flag pin - in Tuscon, Ariz., where she stumped for McCain as he faces the toughest political challenge of his career.

"Send the maverick back to the United States Senate," she urged a crowd of some 5,000, by far the largest of McCain's campaign.

It was the first time the political odd couple had shared the same stage since their failed presidential bid in 2008.

Since then, Palin has ditched her job as Alaksa's governor, written a best-seller, landed a regular gig with Fox News and carefully honed her image as a darling of the Tea Party movement.

What's a bit sad about this is, McCain is not a conservative and is definitely not a part of the Palin camp.

But he's bringing Palin out in AZ to appeal to Arizona's right wing base, because of J.D. Hayworth.

We'll see in August. 20 weeks away.....

What's sad is he's bringing Palin out to his camp. She's nothing more than a circus sideshow these days. I'd be willing to bet she'll actually help in bringing about his loss as she did in bid for presidency. Liked the leather jacket she had on though.

    Good point, twarrrior.

McCain has lost my respect: first for choosing her as VP, and second, for pulling this stunt.

    Time to retire.

    Go Hayworth (or anybody).

This AZ Senatorial primary is being heavily watched.

    Could be very interesting.

    We'll see in 20 weeks.

I think mc cain is a conservative .but what are who are you going to compare him to,the other republican senators.if you do that, then he wins. I do think he's not being himself, for the election .I think thats the reason, why he lost the presidential election. The old mc cain is who i would've voted for. I dont think a republican or conservative, has to act crazy or be like everyone else,to be one.We want our reps to think outside the box, with good ideas and get it done. Its like no one likes to hear the truth,no more .They'd rather hear B.S. and lies, then follow them like puppets.

Shouldn't shoot himself in the foot twice. She didn't help him get elected prez and ain't gonna help him keep his senate seat. She's become the Nancy Pelosi of the right. That being said, I'd pound that gilf snatch till she couldn't crawl.

As stupid as labels are in US politics,

    we have to define "conservative."

    All I can say is he's not a "fiscal conservative" nor a "Xitan conservative," and I don't think he's a "Neo-Conservative."

but what are who are you going to compare him to,the other republican senators.
Cannot compare. The Primary is about a challenger who is not a Senator - and McCain wither wins or loses - the primary.
