Holidaying in the US
Hey guys.
A few of my mates and I are thinking about heading to Miami or Cancun around July or August for a week or two.
Anyone got any thoughts on these places? I'm assuming they've got enough to offer night-life wise, but what are the areas like themselves, and, importantly, the chicks? We don't wanna get all that way only to see shockers or girls who won't like English guys
.

A lot of folks I've spoken to said Miami can be dodgy in places.
What about Cancun? Heard/experienced anything good about that?

Mags, anywhere around South Beach in MIA is gtg. You can't go wrong. Travel a few miles outside though and you'll end up a statistic on the back page of the local paper.

I was just in Cancun for a week over spring break. I stayed at an all-inclusive, I only ventured about a half a mile away from the resort. However, an all inclusive anywhere is going to be nice.
It was a beautiful area and a great time, but it is not really a reflection of Cancun if you want to stay at a mid-range hotel and go for the night life.
I'd suggest Miami over Cancun any day. I'm a little biased because it is my hometown, but the food and nightlife is great, especially around Coconut Grove. It will be a great time for you...if you want to spend the money on the right places.
