I just found a good version of shutter island right here if anyone is interested.

    Shutter Island (2010) R5 DVDRip XviD-MAXSPEED › shutter island › isoHunt › the BitTorrent & P2P search engine

I haven't seen it yet and wanted to see it in the theatres.

    On the game front...

Ubisoft released The Settlers 7. That game uses an always on version of DRM. That's right, you can't play the game unless you're online. If you lose your connection, you can't play the game anymore.

And there's been something amiss with the DRM servers where many, many users cannot reach them, even though they have an Internet connection.

So, if you purchased the game, you may not be able to play it yet. Even if you can get to the DRM server, you can't play it on a laptop anytime you're away from an Internet connection. You also have a superfluous process running on your PC for no good reason.

However, if you just pirate it, you don't have to play the can-I-reach-the-DRM-server game and you can play your game anytime you want.

I'm willing to put down money that some of the people that purchased the game have downloaded the crack.

Once again, I have zero sympathy for the corporations. Fucking none.

On a related note, I did purchase (when it first came out) Bethesda's Fallout 3. Their only anti-copy method was a CD check. That's it. Hell, if you don't use the game launcher and run the game directly, you don't even need the CD.

Bethesda makes good games and treats their customers well, which is why I'll continue to purchase their games.

Oh, and Fallout New Vegas is coming out, bitches!
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.
