We don't live in the 1800s anymore, there's no need to have that many children, they're not all going to die of polio, or hay fever.
And you are right, children are treated as meal tickets in way too many spectrums of the American society. Weather it's welfare whores or foster kids.

We went to TJ Maxx today and were asked if we wanted to donate to autism research at the checkout. I've been really interested in autism for a few years now, and it kind of pisses me off that there are so many campaigns and shit that are getting money for autism research, when there have already been unbelievable advancements in the treatment for it. The only reason these treatments are not wide spread, is because big MDs and the medical board see them as 'un-orthodox' and many doctors refuse to believe that they work because they don't involve pumping your kid full of pills, and as a result, most children that could really benefit from these types of treatment, are not even given the option to receive it, and their parents are not even made aware that they exist.
autism i don't think its a birth defect i think IMO its causee by the shots that are given right after birth i think they give roughly 7 and all of them are suppended in mercury in the vaccine so they are shooting a baby full of this stuff.,. i found it funny how the creator the drug comany CEO didn't have his kids vaccinated with his comanys vaccine.. just my 2 cents

Welfare in many cases is a warranted and needed program. In many others it is a crutch used by the lazy in order to leach from their social betters.

    1. Make drug screening mandatory for welfare recipients
    2. Require some form of community service from those receiving it if they are able bodied

Do these 2 things and I will stand behind welfare 100%. I think it's bullshit that I pay a ridiculous amount of taxes, work insane hours, and I can't smoke a joint, but the people sucking the life out of my paycheck can.

Yea but does he have regular Autism or Aspergers syndrome? I used to know two little boys who had Aspergers. They were like 6 and 8 I think and were the sweetest little kids. They were so intelligent too and could carry full conversations with many adults, in fact when I knew them I was in my mid teens and found their company more preferable to kids my own age sometimes ( I was friends with their parents and played video games a lot )
They were awesome kids, and the only way you'd know they weren't all there in the head was when one of them got upset about something the other did. They would go bat shit crazy on each other sometimes, like they weren't even children but spawns of Satan. They were usually easily pacified with other mind stimulating activities.
On the other hand I am now living above a girl who is my age and is autistic, who lives with her grandmother. Trust me....it isn't pretty at all. I also went to school with an autistic girl. I don't even know why they had her in school, it wasn't a learning experience for her (teachers where I'm from don't have a clue as to how to handle a child with a.d.h.d. let alone autism) a majority of kids made fun of her, and all the sped room did was walk her around the school all day with her going "AAUUUNNNNGGGG AAaaaaaa aarrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnGGGGGGGGGGAAAAA" cause she couldn't talk. They weren't helping her, they might has well of just been parading her around like a side show act. Autism is far from perfect, and it is unfathomable to me that you can say that while having a family member who has been inflicted by it. It isn't fair to any child to have to live out their life like that. Especially when it is possible for them to live normal lives. But doctors are too concerned with lining their pockets with cash and driving around in their BMWs, and you just can't make money off of healthy people.

What SYN is describing is part of OBAMA CARE (or lack of it!!!) There IS a "death clause" in it that will WITHHOLD CARE to people who are too old, or just not worth saving.Yes,yes, yes etc. Again $ will buy you good health care. I live in MI. If you think Canadas health care plan really works, WHY does a insurance company, HAP< Health Alliance Plan, have a webpage telling CANADIANS how they can come to the US , & with $, get GOOD, FAST, RELIABLE HEALTH CARE????WHY?? $ TALKS-BS WALKS!!!

Some people don't start going to shit until they're in their 90's, and some people start deteriorating in their 50s and 60s cause of life choices that are scientifically proven to be hazardous to your health. It would also have to depend on what kind of disease/illness they have. Getting donor organs should be off limits to people over 70 regardless of them having welfare or not. Unless the government puts some money into research on growing new organs like they already do with skin.
If they're like in their mid to late 60s and have mild cancer growth that can easily be removed with a 95% or better chance they will make a good recovery and live out the rest of their natural lives without having to be on nine million different medications, than sure, cut that shit right out of them, let them have a few more happy years if that's what they want. But if they're chances are slim, it's advanced, and their 80+ years old, medicate pain and let them live the rest of their lives at home with their loved ones, not on chemo or wired up to a bunch of machines because they or their families are selfish and can't let go.
The way the waiting list for organs operates should be changed as well. It should not go in order as too how long a person has been waiting, but should be organized by age, severity of need, and chance of survival.
Foreigners that were not born here or moved to America at the age of 18+ of their own accord should not be able to receive any kind of government funded aid, especially medical, unless they have been an actual US citizen for a certain amount of time. If they had less incentive to come here and mooch of us, there probably wouldn't be so many mexicans and puerto ricans shooting each other in California.
Young children should be the first priority when it comes to sick people. Unless they are vegetables, or so messed up that they do not have a chance at living a happy (not necessarily normal but happy) life. If a child has cancer and a 50% or better chance of making a full recovery than every necessarily step should be taken to provide that child with a fair chance at life. However if a child has been cured of cancer once, twice, three times, and it keeps coming back over, and over, then apparently they are just not meant to live and should be made comfortable until they are ready to pass, so that they can live the rest of what short time they have being happy with their families instead of some toy for doctors to play god with, suffering through surgery after surgery. And doctors need to stop charging so much for shit. There is no way that it costs two hundred dollars for me to come in and piss in a cup.
Until their is a cure for aids, people who have it should either be euthanized, made to live in bubbles (at least in public) or be put under some kind of house arrest to prevent them from infecting others. Keep them out of pain and suffering until they die. It might not be their fault they have aids, but it's not the person they decide to have unprotected sex with's fault either.
There should also be some kind of program that runs various periodic (once a week or every two weeks) mental capability tests on newborns and infants to help detect signs of autism, so that it can receive care at an early enough age to live a fully normal life no different than you or I.
Once the un-helpable retard babies reach a certain age, and are not even capable of at least working at mcdonalds and living their own life (even if it's in their parents basement) and are only going to be a drain on society and possibly breed more retard babies (cause lets face it mentally incapable people have sex with each other and that's just gross) should be euthanized.
I know that it is a horrible horrible thing for somebody to have to loose a child, and it makes me sad to read about somebodies kid dying of cancer or being it by a car, or getting into some horrible accident that leaves them brain dead. But death is the natural order of life. In the wild animals who birth weak and sickly young leave them to die. They don't nurse sick young, because it be for the good of the heard.

If someone's on welfare and has smoked cigarettes every day all their lives and gets lung cancer, then too bad, medicate them so their not suffering, but don't try to save someone who destroyed themselves. If someone has eaten at burger king for the past 30 years every day and gets heart disease, then the rest of us shouldn't have to pay the bill because they couldn't stay away from the french fries. Unless you have some kind of medical condition that makes you fat, obese people should all be taken by the government and put on diets and exercise regimens. Those who don't submit should be put to sleep. I don't want my kids hanging out with their little porky fuckers 10 years from now thinking it's okay to be a fat slob.

There. I just reformed health care and welfare in an hour. I think I'll run for president in seven years.
SYN, I would DEFINATELY VOTE FOR YOU as President, & donate $ IF I thought U had a raindrops chance in Hell or better!!!

There is no money in curing diseases. The money is in prolonging treatment.

There are several causes of autism and one is just what you described. Autism is a birth defect in some cases, but when a baby is given all these shots with mercury in them, while it does not directly cause it per se, the babies get mercury poisoning which is very similar in fact almost identical to autism in the way that it effects the brains pathways. When that baby reaches a certain point in it's developmental stage the brain kills off certain pathways that have been malformed and not developed correctly, resulting in a child that is autistic.
Another medicine believed to cause autism is a shot that they give to women who are going into preterm labor to stop contractions.

@toyman If you really want to help with autism, then tell anyone you know or meet who is effected by it, has a child or relative with it, to go and get a copy of the book "The Boy Who Loved Windows"

    Smile

One of you said that people should limit themselves to 4 or5 kids. In theory & thre most part, I agree. However, we have a doctor down 4 doors down the street, they have 10 or so children, (look, I stopped counting @ 7 kids) they sent ALL of them to a private (Catholic) school, they ALL have good clothes, enough to eat & the family doesn't seem to be hurting. OK , this is an exception.
