I used to be really into Eminem, and still like some of his older stuff, but now I think he's just a washed up loser. I mean seriously when he came out he was giving Moby shit for making techno music at 36, but he's pushing 40 n still rapping? He needed to grow up 10 years ago.

He probably just hates techno music and likes to talk shit, I see nothing wrong with making the music you love at any stage in life. Fuck what age you are, if you aren't dead enjoy living.

It wouldn't be so bad if his music was still actually good. But ever since Encore it's like every song is the same. He's an old dog with no new tricks. He should have put his foot in the door more with acting. He was good in 8 Mile, although it can't be very hard to play yourself.

I could probably listen two his first three albums all day long and not get bored but the newer crap he's had out the past few years....I get bored halfway through the first song. Maybe this album will be different but lately I've been less than impressed.

let's face it though, he is still one of, if not the best that the mainstream has to offer...

also I think age should definitely not stop him, he isn't that old....

Snoop is still doing it, Jay Z is still doing it...Cypress Hill is still putting new shit out...

The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith are still wearing tight ass jeans and costumes and kicking it....

I'm not ripping on him for being almost 40 n rapping I'm ripping on him for being a hypocrite.
And I wont deny the fact that I would way rather listen to the worst of his new stuff than some little bitch like pitbull or lil wayne. Those guys are straight up fags, and most rappers out there are. There are a very select few that I will listen to and even then it's usually only a couple songs that I like.

It bugs the piss out of me when I get friend requests on myspace from rappers that are white and suck or black and sound like a little whiney ass girl.

He used to listen to rock and where tie-dye.. He made some hard rap for a while there ,and then it was all about making money. Rappers (even tho I hate rap with a passion) try harder and tend to make better shit before they are signed.

well his last cd encore was 2004, so the past few years all he's done is relapse/refill since he was dealing with a massive drug addiction which you would know about if you actually listened to relapse..

all the songs below that I have bolded are 100x better than any other song by any other musician that I have heard lately...

Relapse is the sixth studio album by American rapper Eminem, released May 15, 2009, on Interscope Records. It is his first album of original material since Encore (2004), following a five-year hiatus from recording due to his addiction to sleeping pills and issues with writer's block. Just because it was written in a rap song doesn't mean it's all true. He used to rap about stabbing people, but he's not on death row is he? That's cause most of the stuff he raps about never happened. But regardless of what the hell was really going on in his personal life, why the hell would I care either way? I don't sympathize with drug addicts that are all 'Oh poor me' when they put themselves there in the first place. Especially when they have little girls to take care of.

Like I said. Used to be a big fan. Now....not so much. It's not my fault he changed his style to something I don't find appealing.
