I still have my pre-existing breast tissue - it will grow and shrink as it always did with weight gain and weight loss.
I had these inserted the way I did so they shouldn't interfere tremendously with my bench, and they shouldn't get pushed down and into my armpits like unders sometimes do.
And yeah, if I gain enough, I could very well end up at a D-cup in the winter.
Speaking of which, cup sizes are totally whack. A 32C is the same boob-size as a 34B or a 36A. I was a 34A/B, so I should be a 34C once the swelling goes down (I'll be a 34D in Victoria's Secret stuff, they lie to their customers, makes more sales... )
At my fattest, I was a 34D - but that was with more back-fat and no lats.
suprfast, I meant to address something you mentioned earlier - hubby has been somewhat ambivalent about my recent acquisition. He'll come around though, he's a boob guy. Your girl, what type of implant is she looking into, and what placement? Is she athletic?

In other news...
I always find this interesting: women who have breast implants have lower rates of cancer than those without.
Mortality among Canadian Women with Cosmetic Breast Implants -- Villeneuve et al. 164 (4): 334 -- American Journal of Epidemiology
I've been reading about this for years, but the press is surprisingly quiet about it. So odd.
