Arizona decides to take care of its problem--the illegals. Then a bunch of fucking chewies (and chewie sympathizers) in Los Angeles talk about boycotting Arizona. So how does Arizona respond? With a big, FUCK YOU!

I really, really like Arizona's politicians. Talk about people with balls. They don't take shit from the Mexicans in Mexico, in the state, or in California.

we don't have natural disasters here very often.

maybe just an occasional drought (which we're all used to) and hundred year flood...and over population w/o enough water.

but we'll manage

On a side note, no one here really talks about the new law. The protests here lasted a day or two and that was that. They only folks that bring it up to me are my family/friends out of state.

Even if some people choose not to go to Arizona because Arizona is defending its borders, the saving in costs from infrastructure (hospitals, prisons, social services, etc.) will more than make up for it.

I would venture that if residents of your state were getting knocked off by Mexican cartel hits, your state might be up in arms too.

AZ has state-level issues that the federal govt is not dealing with, so they do.

AZ still has a lot of what made The West, what it is. I think many people bring up the Sheriff of Maricopa County who has set up the Tent City for county prisoners - no special treatment - you're a convict and you get no special treatment.

I really hate this argument. We are not immigrants. My family has been here for at least 200 years. Which means we are residents. I was born here. All of the living people in my family were born here. Therefore we are not immigrants. We are Americans. This is a country, just like any other. We have our own rules, our own people, our own culture, and history. We need to do what's best for ourselves going forward. The past is just that, the past, we can't linger on how we got here but instead on how we will continue successfully.

I wasn't defending the illegals...just showing you how the govt can turn people on each other..to cause a revolution...maybe..to push the North American Union..possibly..so I just say now..you need to get used to them coming over because the govt. is going to give them amnesty anyway, then dissolve the borders, throw out the constitution, and BAM we will be the NAU, and the dollar will become something like the Euro..they weren't told about it either when it happend to them. So peace guys..its not a big deal...we don't have a choice in the matter anyway..but good for AZ for taking a stand at least. I'm not mad, it was just funny.
