What was I thinking...

My niece gave birth yesterday (9-11-02) to a baby boy at 12:10 pm, 8 lbs. 5 oz!

Something great came out of this day!

PS - she's in CANADA, another Canadian in the world!

HA! I remember while I was still in the Air Force, (I was a cop) we had to report of an 'incident' near one of the hangers. Somebody was doing something wrong.
We were dispatched to the scene to investigate. Upon arrival, we set up and went tactical against our 'intruder'. It was a readiness exercise: our culprit was 'Santa Clause'. Yep, the old jolly guyn was all donned up in all his red suit, hat and all! I had to fo through the steps of getting 'Santa' at a disadvantage and ID and search him. Disadvantage in AF Security Police terms is: to face away from resource, hands above head, go down to knees and cross ankles, where I'd then go in and 'cuff him and place him onto the ground and do a thorough search on him. Even though I had a smile upon my face while performing my duty....Ol Santa got worked over! I only hoped no parents were driving by the flight line and saw me put Santa to the ground and do these things!
