Not yet. I probably will one day, but I haven't done it yet.

So you're getting it but don't have a plan for using it?
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

well yes you cant cover securities without covering the markets. the study of primary and secondary markets goes hand in hand wih the study and overview of debt instruments, equity securities, packaged securities, retirement planning, portfolio analysis. oversite boards etc etc

I could be wrong I dont give a shit, the markets are so corupt anyways...

    Right on.

I'll have to get one, but the only reason that I'd get it is so that I can run a small hedge fund.

Oh, and good luck on the test!

if u get into managing hedge funds that CAN be some SERIOUS money.... it is pretty hard to get into. there are alot of guys that get tired of the investment banking pace and try to switch into something like managing hedge funds.

There isn't really a big difference in strategy b/t the two these days...hedge funds stopped being true hedges in the late 90s, which is why so many fund manages are out of work.

Managing a fund is a total dream job for me...but you have to build enough credibility (usually at an ibank) to gain the proper capital base.

becoming a successful hedge fund manager in this day and age is a pipe dream. it is the white mans equivalent of becoming a successful rapper or basketball player...

you kind of missed my point. all I am saying is if you really have a passion and dream of becoming a hedge fund manager then go for it. if you just want success in your life, there are far easier venues to choose.
