Sadly, I think I was more interested before I saw the trailer.

Yeah the first one was pretty good. I am starting to think those that didnt like it were either lying about being scared or they just dont get it.

I addressed it in that Avatar thread. It is 'cool' to not like anything that other people liked. Yes mainstream art can get redundant, but for the most part, when something is liked by so many people...its because it is good.

I have found that for the most part the naysayers are psuedo-intellectuals who like to show off how different they are, and use words like "sheep" to classify everyone else. Not neccessarily in the case of anyone here, just on average.

I know what youre describing. It reminds me of those pictures with the hidden images that were a hit in the 90s. Everyone had them and I never saw shit in them. Does that mean they suck? No, it means I didnt 'get it.'

My roommate just shot some shit out about Avatar and how it was "not that great." Though I kind of agree, I did enjoy Avatar enough to NOT announce that I dont think it was the stellar masterpiece many call it. I thought it was above average. ABOVE average. He wanted to say it was just ok. To me, ok is average. Not good, not bad, all forgettable.

This sequel looks to be a start of a good hit despite my not agreeing with having the girl. Unlike Blair Witch's sequel, its sticking to the original formula and adding nifty details. Having a home camera system isnt that uncommon and a dog reacting to shit has been creepy since Poltergeist.
