    Stupidiity

Why is that elected officials think it is necessary to constantly be adding new laws; no matter how erroneous.

Florida just pasted a new law that requires venders who sell "tobacco' pipes to earn 75% of there income from tobacco products.

I will be glad when all these old fuckers that have been allowed to remain in government for the past 50 years die off and a new, non-religion based government takes hold.

    Oh yeah.......

In Florida, it's illegal to buy, sell or explode consumer fireworks — even on your own property — unless you (A) have a city permit to shoot off fireworks for the public to enjoy; (B) will use the explosives to scare off birds from a farm or fish hatchery; or (C) you work on a railroad and need to light or clear a path for your train. The state defines "fireworks" to include standard fireworks, projectile fireworks, launchable rockets with stands, M-80s and bottle rockets.

There are tents set up everywhere that sell fireworks

You can use anything the state considers a "sparkler," which includes snakes or glow worms, smoke devices, trick noisemakers, party poppers, booby traps, snappers, trick matches that produce a spark, cigarette loads and auto burglar alarms. To make things easy, Galaxy Fireworks' permanent store on East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard has a "safe and sane" aisle where customers can buy anything without signing a waiver, provided they're over age 18 or accompanied by a parent.

all these dumb rules are so silly but it makes me wanna abuse my GOD powers and wipe out the population of the earth again. It's ain't easy being GOD

I guess they are trying to cut down on those "tobacco" users. Stupid percentage though, its like they pulled it out of their ass. "Let's discourage illegal drug use but continue to encourage the legal druge use (primarily because it pays our salary)."

As for the fireworks thing, I have never understood the excitement surrounding them. We live in a world (well, most of us anyway) where so many people are trying to reduce their Ecological Footprint. Removing those gas guzzling, black exhaust spewing automobiles from the road; conserving energy by keeping the lights off, lowering heat/cooling temperatures, unplugging devices when not in use. All of this effort put in, but we still enjoy fireworks. If you ask me, fireworks are far worse than most cars, have you seen the shit that they release into the air? If we had fireworks every day of the year, how long would it take before they were banned? Are a handful of days out of the year justified? Not to mention all the people who blow themselves up trying to light fireworks every holiday. Fireworks are a senseless noise and light-show, and I agree with the limitations your state has placed on them, though I also feel it isn't enough.

I fucking love Louisiana! You can buy a fifth of Jose Cuervo, a meth pipe, some fireworks, and a lottery ticket all at the same time at any gas station.
