    Future computing: Poke PC

I don't know why anyone would pick this over a netbook though.

Eh, rather have an Ipad....a ball just doesn't seem like it would fit in my bag nicely with my books...

The future of computer are 3d monitor and not your average 3d monitor where you would use glasees but a box like an aquarium that you look inside. It will be the step before full holography.

Not a box, projection onto a surface maybe (MS predicted that and its actually not looking like thats the hot ticket). Nobody wants to carry a big box, we had 80 pound portables already (8088 portable with 5" screen).

I think the phone working as a multi-capable device is pretty hot right now, but I wouldn't mind a wearable computer with keyboard and trackpad, although those are pretty geeky and won't be for the normal person.

Seen the movie Avatar? They make it look pretty cool. I expect to see those type of screens eventually. With one touch and drag, you can transfer a file from a flat-screen type display to an Ipad type display.

I tried one of those laser keyboards before and couldn't get used to the finger placement...I had to lean over it and stare directly down on it to hit the right spot, then there is the no tactile response you get from normal keyboards....What I did find surprising was when I tried out a friends Ipad this weekend I was able to type like a champ in landscape, this spaces the keys wide enough to not cause mistakes....got 2 paragraphs for my novel down in half an hour....

Damn. Cool concept but the design doesn't look catchy for me.
