    3 weeks until 3 months

3 weeks until my civilian ass heads off to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I turn 21. I don't drink anymore or do much of any partying. What would you do with your last 3 weeks until:

I'm engaged to the sweetest girl in the world. We've been together since the ninth grade ,and yesterday my ship date closing in upset her. She was balling over her oatmeal. We are getting married the day after I graduate boot.

I'm been thinking about eating some of the foods I been depriving myself of.

I questioned myself on that spelling ,but was typing and watching House of Pain. Yes, my baby and I have lived together for the last few years so that's already like a daily task.

I have been in your shoes my friend.
If your not into partying then do yourself a favor and condition yourself
over the next 3 weeks. Run, run and then run some more. Get yourself in
the running, push up, leg lift and sit up mind set as you will do more over the 10 weeks you are there then you ever will in your life.

Being in cardiovascular shape makes boot camp that much more easy.
There is 0 need for any mass at all, as you will loose it within 2-4 weeks
with the amount of running and also the heat.

    Good luck
Keep your powder dry and say Yes sir a lot.

I spent the last weeks before boot chilling enjoying my last moments of freedom before I became government property. The day I graduated I drove my moms vette from Houston to St. Louis where I stayed at my moms huge house playing videogames and swimming in her pool all day to stay in shape, I rode dirtbikes, chased women and thoroughly enjoyed every minute I could....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
