Laurence Fishburne's daughter is breaking into the porn business and breaking her dad's heart.

"[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he's mad at me but I haven't spoken to him yet," Montana Fishburne, 19, told TMZ.com, adding that her famous father is "very hurt" over her decision to star in an X-rated flick.

But Montana - who also goes by the name "Chippy D" - thinks she'll be able to work her way back into the "Matrix" star's good graces.

"I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him," she told the gossip Web site.

Montana even thinks her dad might eventually get behind her new career move.

"I think he wants to support me in everything I do," she said, "and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive."

Although Montana told TMZ she didn't warn her dad about her steamy career move, she said she plans to meet with him soon to explain her motives.

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape," Montana said in a press release from Vivid Entertainment. "I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it."

Still, Montana's porn pursuit doesn't seem like something that would make her pop proud.

"The first time is really nerve racking, but I have a lot of at-home experience," Montana said in an interview with CarltonJordan.com.

"I know what I do and I do it well," she added.

Montana's sex tape will be released by Vivid Entertainment on August 18.

It turns out Laurence Fishburne may have been bristling at his daughter's career choices for some time now.
Court records obtained by E! News show that Montana Fishburne, who's making her adult-film debut this month in Vivid Entertainment's cleverly titled Montana Fishburne, was arrested last year for alleged prostitution and only avoided jail by signing up for a work-alternative program.
So maybe porn is a step in the right direction.

On March 19, Fishburne pleaded no contest in a Hollywood courtroom to criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, and the court agreed to drop charges of solicitation and loitering in a public area for the purpose of prostitution, according to court documents.
She was sentenced to two years' probation and 15 days in jail, but was able to do community service instead of jail time.
As part of her probation, Fishburne was also ordered to not charge (or attempt to charge) money for sex; have sex in a public place or a place "exposed to public view"; hitchhike or otherwise engage drivers in conversation; and loiter in alleys or public streets "with the intent to solicit acts of prostitution."
Basically, don't go out and be a hooker.
The 19-year-old was also ordered to complete an AIDS-education class and submit to an AIDS test.
A call to Fishburne's attorney of record, Sammy Weiss, was not immediately returned.
