It was the weekend. I didn't wanna.![]()

who has you bird bonded more with?
Me, Butterfly, then Cory
The bird hasn't seen my son for two weeks and still wanted to go to him when he was over last weekend.

our African Grey prefers me, in fact I am the only one that she allows to pet her.
Beautiful Bird Fade. Seems to love you alot.![]()
Nice pictures Fade. Birds are cool, but they can be really messy. My sister had a bird once. All I got to say is feathers, feathers, feathers.

No feathers laying around yet. Messy with her food though. Threw a pea at Butterfly the other day.
LOL.. yeah there was a lot of bird seed on the floor as well.

Aww adorable birdie.. looks real affectionate.. Are they alot of work to get to be so cuddly??

If you buy a "hand fed" baby they are already very friendly, but you have to handle them daily if you want them to remain that way.
O I C, TY... I used to have parakeets but they were not too friendly and I tried to handle them daily butthey were viscious lil fellers..
I don't like budgies or cockatiels.
I've had her for about 2 weeks now. She was kinda shy when I first saw her at the pet store but now she's ok.
I handle her a little in the morning, 1-2 hours at lunch, and most of the evening. She's either riding on my shoulder or playing/eating on the play area.

First of all were they "hand fed"? that makes a huge difference.Originally posted by Erilaya

Secondly, if you house 2 or more alike birds together they will bond to each other and they will not care too much about humans.
Thirdly, I agree with Fade, I do not care for parakeets or cokatiels either.![]()
the second pic looks like the bird is scratching it's back on your stubble![]()
