Thread: Killing some Cats

Why not trap them and carry them to some branch of the ASPCA? A trap cost about $30. At least with the pound, you don't run the risk of wounding the animals and having them run off and die slowly for the next few days. Plus, there is the chance that someone will adopt them.

If the authorities find out, you'll go to jail.

Got to agree with DOMS and Kelju here. this one is a pretty easy one to figure out. get some traps.

I came pretty close to killing some cats, once. I have a neighbor whose a cat lady. She used to have 15 cats. Add that to the sand box / swing set that I have in my back yard and you've got a lot of cat shit in yard of someone that doesn't own a cat.

I went next door and asked her nicely to cut back on the number of cats. Plus, I picked up all the cat shit and threw it over the fence, back into her yard.

She now has 4 cats. Which I can deal with.

You can get them at Cabelas, buy yes, anti-freeze is cheaper.

and kills kids too. if you call the shelter or animal control they will lend you traps. Tesla brought home a cat some shitbag poisoned that way before. he was a great cat he just had shitty owners. if you kill any cats that way and someone knows you did it, say they read it on a forum and warn the authorities in advance what you plan to do... it won't be cheaper.

you could write an editorial complaining about the cats, be specific about the problems they are causing and say who exactly you contacted and spoke with to try and remedy the problem and that they refused to do their job. if gotten results by just calling a place carefully asking for the name of the person... if they haven't agreed to collect the cats say well i think i may need to write an editorial and draw the community's attention to this issue. i assume everyone in your area pays taxes for a reason. that means animal control works for you. make them do their job. i've even called a state representatives office before and had them contact the offending party to get what i needed done and it got done. no isn't the right answer.

Get a dog that likes to eat cats. My greyhound would destroy the neighborhood cats if I let her. She leaves my two housecats alone though. Good dog.

what you do is try and hit one of the cats with your car . . hopefully it will only be maimed.

if you trap them and bring them to a shelter or bully the shelter into doing it you will save yourself a lot of grief. they will be spayed and neutered. if not there will only be more voices in the night. write an editorial and get your neighbors to sign it too. my ex landlord said i had to let his partner continue feeding feral cats in the yard at the house i was renting. the flea issue was so uncontrollable i moved here.

Yeah natures little bacterium as the corpse decays under your house, believe me we had a raccoon crawl under our house and die, after a few days my dad had to crawl under their and drag it out mere inches from his face then he had to crawl back in and empty a whole can of lysol on the wet spot.....

But seriously if you live in the woods you'll be shooting yourself in the foot by getting rid of those cats, they'll keep all the more annoying varmints away from your house....We had three scruffy battle scarred cats who hung around our house, every once in a while they'd disappear. When they did we'd see an increase in number of mice coming in our house, or birds building nests in the eaves, and the coon who died under our house came while they were away....

When the cats away the mice will play....
