Never bought a movie ticket, watched a movie, then went to another one. For free. But with a Monday and Tuesday off, I aint got shit to do!
The Town: I always thought Affleck was a good movie, he just needed better parts. He does great in this. Awesome bank robbery scenes, great cover ups, perfect asshole cop. The love interest is what every guy wants to meet, so unrealistic a tad, but so realistic that its acceptable..if that makes sense
8.5 or 9 out of 10.
Devil: The moment I heard the music I thought, aw shit, bring on the cheese. However, as the story went on, I had to submit to some genuine storytelling. Its from the Shamylan asshole, so there is some detective work to be done, but I said fuck it, I am not going to try to figure it out. Next thing I know, I not only get surprised, but I was GLAD that it turned out the way it did.
7.5 or 8 out of 10
All in all, both movies had great endings and we all know how important that is.
