Socialism and Communism are not the same. Related cousins perhaps.

The most socialistic nations in the world are in Norway and Sweden, where my relatives are from. And no, I don't like socialism.

By referring to GWB's socialist agenda I'm (once again) referring to Medicare-D.

Signed by GWB in 2003, it was voted "no" on, by 9 GOP politicians. It went into effect in 2006.

Not only will this blow the spending and budget to pieces, it transfers trillions of dollars to the Big Pharma companies.

So an agenda that benefits the private sector is socialist?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

    In many instances.

    Look at Japan's MITI.

In the US, the military industrial-complex corporations:

    BAE Systems,
    Ratheon
    Northrop Grumman
    United Technologies
    L-3
    Lockheed Martin

And the recent realization in the USA of "capitalism on the way up and socialism on the way down."

    Goldman Sachs
    AIG
    JP Morgan

Hey socialism works great when your country has money practically gushing out of the ground.

If there is one thing I know inside and out its the A&D industry.

The big US 5 in defense contracting $'s are
    1. LockheedMartin (Juggernaut, plays the congressional/DoD/White House like a game chess...grandmaster)
    2. Boeing (moving down, but will remain #2...If they can get GMD is full swing they might be able turn things around)
    3. Northrup Grumman (expect to go down is position. Will get a large short term cash infusion after they sell off their shipbuilding business though)
    4. General Dynamics (on the way up...this company is very well managed)
    5. Raytheon (losing some key programs and growing other key programs...keeping position)

L3Communcations was growing quickly, but thats going to stop soon. United (PrattWhitney is the defense division) should experience some solid growth assuming it's the full sole source selection for the new F-35 and the GAO finally cuts GE/RollsRoyce out of the picture.

Never heard of General Dynamics, thanks.

I know Boeing is in the MIC complex/A & D industry, but I also have always thought of Boeing as making civilian airplanes. They are #2!
