The only saving grace of this fiasco is that the signs are wearing out anyway. Perhaps NYC will replace them on an individual basis, like when it's been wiped out by a truck or shot full of holes.

Just think of it like this. Any frivolous, meaningless, money wasting project that happens at any local, city,state or federal level is probably part of the stimulus bill.
Obama and his cronies will probably use this to say he saved a job or two in NYC. Meanwhile 2000 get laid off in neighboring states as business prepare for the higher tax hit coming next year.Weight lifting is like " Mind over Matter". If my body doesn't mind---the weight doesn't matter!!!!!
