Megan Fox's name might come up again. She might need the work.
DC Comics heroine Wonder Woman is firing up her invisible jet and booking a flight plan back to your TV screen.
According to multiple outlets, Warner Bros. TV, aka the folks who currently bring you ‘Smallville’s Clark Kent, is partnering with (get this) David E. Kelley to bring this modern-day reboot to life. Yes, legal drama auteur David E. Kelley (’Ally McBeal,’ ‘Boston Legal’), so get ready for ‘Diana Prince, Esq.’ Oh, I kid.
Most memorably portrayed on TV in the late 1970s by Lynda Carter (watch full episodes here), Wonder Woman has struggled over the past decade to re-enter the pop cultureverse. The names of various producers (e.g. Joel Silver), directors (’Buffy’s Joss Whedon) and actresses (’Tomb Raider’s Angelina Jolie, ‘Angel’s Charisma Carpenter, ‘Bones’ Emily Deschanel) have at one time or another been bandied about for possible big-screen forays, yet none have ever gained much traction.
'Wonder Woman' TV Redo Is In The Works: Who Would You Cast? | Fancast News

DC comics blow. Superman is pretty much a god and what fun is that. The Green Lantern's weakness is yellow?
I love getting high, I hate getting low, and I like to drive my truck down a muddy dirt road.
I'm a great believer in luck and I find that the harder I work, the more I have of it.

I saw the movie Legion on cable last week. I think she will do well.
One of the most coveted roles of the upcoming TV pilot season is now cast.
Adrianne Palicki has landed the lead role of “Wonder Woman” in NBC’s remake on the super sexy superhero.
The 28-year-old actress was a breakout star on NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” and she was one of the bright spots on Fox’s short-lived drama “Lone Star” last year.
The high-profile project comes from creator David E. Kelley (”Ally McBeal,” “The Practice,” “Boston Legal”) and Warner Bros. TV.
The re-imagining of the iconic DC Comics character will find this new “Wonder Woman” aka Diana Prince to be a multi-tasker just like most modern women–she’s described as a vigilante crime fighter; a successful corporate executive; and an (extra) ordinary gal trying to balance all the elements of her complex life.
The original “Wonder Woman” TV series starred Lynda Carter and ran from 1976-79.

CONFIRMED: Wonder Woman Pilot Rejected By NBC!
Mixed reviews and negative fan feedback have seemingly put the final nail in the coffin of the planned Wonder Woman TV show, with Entertainment Weekly revealing that NBC have passed on the pilot...
When the costume was first revealed, the negative feedback from fans was overwhelming. While a slightly redesigned version was met a little more positively, it would appear that the Amazonian princesses outfit is the least of her worries, as NBC have passed on the pilot. Here is an excerpt from the report over at Entertainment Weekly. More details can be found by clicking on the link below to head on over to the site.
Well that was fun (to make fun of) while it lasted. EW has learned that NBC passed on the much buzzed-about Wonder Woman pilot from David E. Kelley and Warner Bros. TV.
Why did the ‘ol girl fail to pass muster?
NBC isn’t saying for now but scuttlebutt reveals the pilot earned mixed reviews at test screenings. And then there was all the online blow back about the costume – which seemed to de-emphasize the patriotism and play up the comic’s Greek mythology. Ultimately, the wardrobe department went back to the drawing board but that didn’t seem to save the project.
I'm no expert when it comes to what happens next, but as with that Aquaman pilot a few years back, it looks like we can say goodbye to the chances of seeing Wonder Woman on the small screen. Whether this will damage the characters chances of making it to the big screen is unclear. What do you guys think about this? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

Nicolas Winding Refn Gets Wonder Woman if Logan's Run is a Success
Nicolas Winding Refn Gets Wonder Woman if Logan's Run is a Success
The Christina Hendrick's version of Wonder Woman is only a hit movie away! According to the director of the newmovieDrive, he was told by a studio exec that if Logan's Run is a moneymaker, he'll gets his prized project.
Courtesy of Indie Wire
1. Refn’s has been told by studio executives that his dream adaptation of “Wonder Woman” depends on the success of his first blockbuster, “Logan’s Run”
“I would love to make ‘Wonder Woman.’ And I also think that Christina Hendricks would be the perfect Wonder Woman, but Warner Bros haven’t called yet. But I’m getting closer with ‘Logan’s Run.’ I think someone said to me in a meeting that if I get ‘Logan’s Run’ right, then I’ll get ‘Wonder Woman.’”
I like this guy. He has such a desire to make Wonder Woman when other directors would take it only for the paycheck. So what does he have planned for Logan's Run?
Here is excerpt from an interview with I09
How do you update a film like [Logan's Run]? Do you keep Box?
I have done this, I've gone back, and I've seen the movie, I've seen the TV show and I've started to read the novels. I've read the first one. And I'm beginning to get an angle on it that I think could be interesting. I think the challenge with Logan's Run is that the premise is so brilliant, that the payoff will almost always be disappointing. Except, if you come up with something really, really, really, really brilliant.
Do you have that? You're planning on altering something?
I think it needs to be altered, because everything in Logan's Run became true, and more in our society nowadays. So it's thinking "What would Logan's Run feel like if it was written today, about 2,000 years into the future."
A little too vague to determine if his version of Logan's Run will be a hit or not. Ryan Gosling will be starring in the movie, he is expected to play Logan 5 which was played by Michael York in the 1976 film. The role is like a police officer in the future, called a Sandman. These Sandmen are responsible for tracking down people who don't conform to the society rules and become "runners." In the movie people had to submit at age 30, but in the novel, which Refn is using as the source, the age is 21.
I enjoyed the original Logan's Run and I don't think it is perfect at all. This is one of the few movies that I really don't mind getting updated.
And if you aren't familiar with Refn's desire to make Wonder Woman you may not be aware of his gushing of the Mad Men actress, ChristinaHendricksas the next Amazonian princess. He calls her the perfect choice and I'm too busy staring at her to disagree.
Simple enough, everyone go see Logan's run and we finally get a Wonder Woman movie. I'm in! Are you?

Smallville's Erica Durance To Play Wonder Woman!...Kinda
Smallville's Erica Durance To Play Wonder Woman!...Kinda
The actress who played Lois lane in Smallville will guest star in NBC’slegal dramedy Harry’s Law as a disturbed woman who believes she is actually DC's Amazonian princess..
She has been a lot of fan's choice to portray Wonder Woman on the big screen for a while now despite already playing Lois Lane. Well sorry, but the lovely actress won't actually be playing the character much to the chagrin of many Smallville fans I'm sure. Instead she will be playing a woman who thinks she is the popular DC heroine in an episode of Harry's Law. Will we see her in the iconic (and revealing) costume? We just might!
from TV Line..
TVLine has learned exclusively that the Smallville alumna is set to guest-star on NBC’s Harry’s Law — which currently airs Wednesdays at 9/8c and was just picked up for a full second season — as a psychologically infirm woman who retreats into the persona of the DC Comics heroine to help wreak revenge on perpetrators of domestic abuse.
The site also suggests that since both Harry's Law and Wonder Woman both fall under the WB umbrella that it's entirely possible we will see Durance don the costume. She already appeared wearing an "Amazonian Princess" outfit in an episode of Smallville. Might she be dressed in something similar to the pics above? We can hope.
Harry's Law airs Wednesdays at 9pm ET on NBC.

First Look at SMALLVILLE'S Erica Durance Dressed as WONDER WOMAN
David E. Kelley who tried to adapt Wonder Woman for a television show on NBC, but it crashed in burned before even one episode aired has decided to take another crack at the character. He still has his show Harry's Law, which stars Kathy Bates, and he is introducing a character who is mentally unstable. The role, which will be played by Erica Durance is said to believe she is Wonder Woman, and even wears a costume that resembles the one Adrianne Palicki was seen wearing.
![]()
Durance told TVLine "I will say this: There’s a whole difference to being ready to wear Underoos and being ready to wear a pair of pants that are slim-fitting. I am grateful that I am wearing the pants. And I like the new costume.”
The real name of Durance's character is reportedly Annie Bilson; a psychologically damaged young woman who takes on Wonder Woman's identity as she engages in some vigilante activities that require her to get legal help from the lawyers on "Harry's Law."
