This happens to me alot. I'll be either working my regular shift, called in on overtime, called in on an emergency response for work, or teaching at my school. It makes it tough some days to get to the gym or eat properly.

But, when I do get my shit together and I'm eating properly and training hard, it makes it that much more enjoyable knowing I have the mental toughness to perservere while my co-workers look at me and complain and make excuses why they look like shit.

Just keep on plugging along!

It's starting to come crashing down on me. I just got promoted (unwillingly) to head bouncer at the bar I work at. I probably could get out of it, but there is nobody else who would be able to do it, so basically I straighten out all the bull shit at work and I end up putting it on myself to fill out the empty slots when we are short, so I don't get home till 4am, combine this with 8:30 am class time, homework, and weight training, it sucks.

If god were suddenly condemned to live the life which he has inflicted on man, he would kill himself.

Money is real good but man has size dropped and my wt. and my waist. It's so easy to say I'm to tried to go to the gym. I think I will have this weekend off and plan to my ass back on track.

Any of you every had this happen to you?
Absolutely! When I knew the times where I was unable to workout, I would pre plan my previous weeks and hit the gym to the MAX!

During the couple of weeks off, mentally, I knew my body needed to recuperate! I'm unaware of your occupation type but, in mine previous job, I was able to take my breaks and do a quick 15 minutes of abs, pushups etc. I ate VERY strict, so the loss was minimal in muscle but one thing that may have affected was when I returned to the gym, the pounds I was pushing decreased. But it took me a week to get back to where I needed it or left off with.

Just keep the diet very strict and sound, do what you can in between (for exercises) even if it's a quick powerwalk to the car and keep your mind free and you shall overcome your time off and probably be even stronger and better within a matter of a week and half!
