    some FOOD for thought............

    so obviously i'm bored at work today and people watching in the office as well as the cafeteria/breakrooms and am really noticing how many fat or obese individuals there are in our normal lives we are surrounded by and a thought came to mind......if you can get a contact buzz from marijuana, can you get "contact fat" from breathing the air that's been made by fried foods?.....i was thinking back to a time when i had a roommate that would use the presto deep fryer daily for most meals he and his girlfriend ate and the air in the house became dense and you'd get that film on your skin like if you ever worked at a chain restaurant kitchen before and begin to feel like shit.......so the question is can the air created by frying actually get in your systems and make us fat or spike our cholesterol counts?

    What is secondhand Grease mist?
    Secondhand Grease mist is also known as environmental Mazola smoke (EMS) or Crisco smoke.
    EXPOSURE LIMITS

    * OSHA PEL

    The current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) permissible exposure limit (PEL) for vegetable oil mist is 15 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m(3)) of air for total dust, and 5 mg/m(3) for the respirable fraction, as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) concentration [29 CFR 1910.1000, Table Z-1].

    * NIOSH REL

    The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has established a recommended exposure limit (REL) for vegetable oil mist of 10 mg/m(3) for total dust, and 5 mg/m(3) for the respirable fraction, as a TWA for up to a 10-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek [NIOSH 1992].
    * ACGIH TLV
    The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) has assigned vegetable oil mist a threshold limit value (TLV) of 10 mg/m(3) (except castor, cashew nut, or similar irritant oils), as a TWA for a normal 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek [ACGIH 1994, p. 35].

    When strong handsome men, like yourself are exposed to secondhand grease mist it is called involuntary smoking or passive smoking. Health nuts who breathe in secondhand grease take in fat and other toxic chemicals just like fat people do. The more secondhand grease you are exposed to, the higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body and make your ass fat.

    I haven't eaten fried food in quite some time. I get a sick feeling every time I go by a fast food place and smell all the grease. Fish places are the worste like Captain D's. I almost puke when I go by there.

    The scent of fried food is so bad for many areas that sell it like, "four corners" (is what us "old as dirt" type call it, but anyhow... there are usually, 4 or more fast food chains) and they're usually located right at the "freeway" entrances and exits, making it so nice for those that wish to do no exercises and stuff their faces and making their children that are helpless to having to induce this so-called food. Not to mention of hurting our populations, as well as our taxes for heart disease and their needs for walkers and sh**! (Excuse me, those of you with stock in these corporations) The scent is so overwhelming that you as a person with your air conditioning on can smell through your car as you (the good person) drives by.

    Okay, I've slapped myself silly and done with it

    .....guy's like me who used to take drunken trollops outside in the pool cabana and have her blow me and then send her back into the bar horny and I'd see them making out with some other random guy, without even rinsing her mouth with some alcohol to sterilize it....

    Wow, reminds me of a couple weeks ago. About 5 people in the elevator at school, myself and two friends (fairly overweight friends) join on and the elevator has a spasm and doesn't budge til we exit. Talk about embarassing. I am only 150! lol
