Why the genital mutilation to begin with? Male circumcision was originally designed by Christianity (being the submissive, guilt stricken religion that it is) to limit the pleasure during sex. It's an ancient barbaric ritual which has been passed on through the ages simply out of tradition and it now has to be justified by claiming that it is for hygiene reasons that the penis needs to be chopped off.

Women of the muslim faith are still suffering from genital mutilation today and it is nothing short of cruel and barbaric. These rituals that are performed in the name of God. It seems strange to me that God, the all-knowing, all powerful creator has a vested interest in our sex lives.

Nah, I'm from Bama. This was a high school mate of mine. But, in reality I reckon circumcision is just an outdated form of genital mutilation. Prolly no need for it. My two boys are circumcised. I don't see any need to ban it. But, in reality there probably is no need for it.

No need to ban circumcision, it should be a personal choice for the person involved. However mutilating another individual before they are old enough to make the decision for themselves is immoral and should have been banned many decades ago.
