I'm pretty pleased with how it's going so far, I haven't had them up that long and I've sold 5 of them in the past two days.
Thats a good start. Try visiting forums where people are talking about giving gifts and whatnot since its gift-giving season. And in all the forums you are involved in, add the link to your signature using a good description, like bowls made of vinyl disks and maybe add a picture in the signature too if you can. You can bank on these last few weeks but it would have been ideal if you started a bit earlier in terms of marketing. In any case, I'm sure youll learn a lot from this experience, i think thats more valuable than the actual money, which should be a bonus

I have a couple of friends who have ads for me on their sites, I had a link in my sig here for zibbet once but that never picked up because it was such a small company then, don't know about now. There's a lot more I want to do first before I really start trying to advertise, such as getting more verity in the shop, and tying it to my photography site so that each one can attract business to the other. Which means I'm going to be busy making banners and ads for a while.
I read the thread title and thought you'd had another dream about me.
Oh well, congrats on the sales. That's a really cool original idea. Bet you can go to garage sales and pick up old records for a dime a dozen. What an inventive way of turning other people's garbage into your gold mine.
