They have a free democratic society. What could be more democratic than a society where the people love their country's founder so much that after his death, they would accept no one other than his son to take over as their leader. For the last 57 years, he and his father have protected his people from foreign imperialism. How could you not love a leader like that? Of course they have a free press. Here is an sample.

lol @ the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" would love to see in detail the actual democratic process of this political party.

North Korea now Blames South Korea for using " human shields "
North Korea says civilian deaths, if true, very regrettable
(Reuters) - North Korea said on Saturday that if there were any civilian deaths in its attack on a South Korean island, they were "very regrettable."
North Korea shelled the island of Yeonpyeong on Tuesday, killing two civilians and two Marines and destroying dozens of houses. It said it was responding to live fire by South Korea into its waters.
"If that is true, it is very regrettable," KCNA said of the civilian deaths. "But the enemy should be held responsible for the incident as it took such inhuman action as creating 'a human shield' by deploying civilians around artillery positions and inside military facilities."
