Kanye West blasts Swift and Lauer during NYC performance
Kanye West, whose new album is getting rave reviews, is not done ranting about Taylor Swift and Matt Lauer. During a secret performance at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC early this morning, the rapper accused Swift of using the VMAs moment in which he interrupted her acceptance speech as a vehicle to boost her popularity. "Taylor never came to my defense at any interview. ... And rode the waves and rode it and rode it," West ranted, according to US Weekly. He also said Lauer "exploited" him during his recent Today show interview where he objected to archival footage Lauer showed during his segment.

considering that "Pregnant at 18" is the highest rated show on MTV safe to say the bar has been officially lowered and the meaning of "talent" today is pretty much the opposite of what is used to be. today rich = talented
