I think I paid $1.59 for the mid-grade stuff in Connecticut yesterday. I'm not 100% sure. I don't really pay attention. I just wave my Speedpass, pump the gas, and take off.

Halifax, Nova Scotia...regular is 80cents per litre...converts to about $3.20Cdn$ for a US Gallon.

It's getting waaaay out of hand on the east coast anyway.

DeKalb (where I commute to school) $1.33/87 octane.
Warrenville (where I live) $1.60-ish for 87 octane.

In downtown Chicago it can be expected to be around 20 cents more expensive.

This is nothing, though, compared to, I believe, 2 summer ago. When I had my truck I would regularly spend about $50/week on gas. I believe at that time Chicago did have the higest prices. And, honestly, Chicago normally has the highest or damn near close enough prices.

Cheapest I know if is $1.59 where I live for regular, I remember paying less than that for premium for the 'good car' and waiting for it to come down more! Silly me waiting...waiting...

Never that cheap up here, most stations are $1.75-$1.79 for regular, premium is usually 20 cents more, I pay $1.59 for regular and premium at that station would be about $1.79 I believe.

1.31 in my little hick town here in NC. It makes me wonder just how much profit is enough to keep jacking up the prices.

It sure was here, about $2.29 for 91 craptane (MTBE). Kuso probably gets reamed the most I'd think, not that I know yen conversion but overseas they get stomped.

Well, there's about four litres per gallon so that would be $2.96. But I'm assuming you're talking Canadian $$$ so after conversion that would be about $.05 U.S. Wow, your gas is cheap!
