Werd. We have been pussified horribly over the last coupla decades. Part of it has to do with our liberal media working against the military every time there's a conflict. The lefties in the USA have a deep disdain for the military and sympathize with the enemy in every conflict, therefore they do everything they can to weaken it.

Just look at what a huge deal they made out of the "torture" of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of Al Quaeda's top guys and architect of 9/11. The left is moar concerned about making the military look like brutal barbarians than preventing another muslim attack, so they pretend to be outraged over this guy getting a bucket of water poured over his bearded ugly ass sand nigger face. The idiots at BSNBC were referring to our own soldiers as war criminals.

Frankly, I'd love to see Nancy Pelosi getting waterboarded. Better yet, I'd love to see her in one of Saddam's rape rooms. Only problem is that it'd be hard to find anyone willing to partake.

IF the GOP loves the military so much why do you guys keep cutting benefits to Veterans? Vietnam Vets have not a good word to say about the GOP. The GOP has no problems shipping the military off to fight but could give a fuk about you once you are out of the service. Every time there is a budget reduction of Veterans benefits it's proposed by republican. the 9-11 health care bill the GOP has been fighting that for what almost 7 years now.

I'm pretty sure one of the toughest and best military in the world ( Israel) allows gays to serve without a problem, but then, they are a small country with limited population . Air America didn't have a problem either during the Indochina conflict but then, technically they weren't the military. If the six day war is a testimony to the fact that gays don't detract from the military then go ahead.

I also think it is just plain pragmatism, they say the military is unable to harvest as many recruits due to our burgeoning obesity problem, have you noticed most peacocks are so concerned about their physical appearance they are on the whole leaner than their male heterosexual counterparts? I find my gay men are way into body building, running, triathalons etc and my female lesbians are definately on the higher end of the body mass index.
