Well, I won't laugh at that fact that you're getting snowed in only for the fact that I am in CT in a hotel for two days due to cancelled flights back to Florida!

Oh, Maniclion! Hello!!!!! Ha! I've been in Florida for almost 10 years straight and I'm so ready for "change"! Closer to home (CT/VT) Although, I'm still having the same fun and meeting new people but, it's time to be closer to the family as they are getting older.

I (finally) graduated UF and outgrew Gainesville. I worked a bit as a counselor and got a job in Tampa working with addicts. Tit and I broke up over a year ago. It was a pretty clean break up and I started hitting the gym again. I've been on the boards kind of off and on like you tho. It's crazy how long we've all been migrating back to this board.

I got laid off from Motorola and picked up a job with the airlines. Great benefits but, not great pay. So, I travel like a madman to make up for that loss of income! I do some side technical stuff under that table, so I am managing well!

Are you a substance abuse counselor or psychiatrist??

Ha!! I was just on a road trip to look at the families property in North Port and Palm Bay! I drove Alligator Alley to 75 North- I-4 cutting across what was called the Beeline to I-95 and back down to Ft Lauderdale!!!

Motorola doesn't do much but, put out crappy cell phones, 2 way radio crap, etc. Oh believe me, I was begging for the layoff!!!!

I worked at Motorola for over 20 years, it was great in the 80's.

I only worked for them for 8 years so I didn't get the fool luxuries that Mino had except that it was based in Sunrise/Plantation, FL

We had profit sharing, no one had to multitask, good benefits, there really existed a cost of living increase. It was once rated one of the top ten companies to work for.

I moved onto a private company that became an authorized Moto dealer/repair center. All the partners came from there, got tired of the snow and moved it to Florida!

Hey Old friend!! Are you still in Simsbury? I have been up here quite a lot this year (Newington) and try to train as much as I can at the LA Fit in Newington. I switched to more swimming than lifting. (I'm old now) I think with the emergence of myspace (2005) and then, facebook (current), it swallowed more of my time internet wise! A lot of new faces here on IM.com and tons of old people are gone! I feel definitely like a newbie again! That "anything goes" column would've been funny back then with the fights we had back then (mmafighter, w8, dero, pmor, myself, etc.) Oh my god! LMAO triple!!!!

Yup, still in Simsbury! I work out at Big Sky there.

Have you been in Stew Leonards in Newington? That store rules. You've got to go during peak shopping hours though to maximize tasty samples.
