    Question The Dating Scale

Hi everyone. Recently I was searching the internet in hopes of finding people's perspective when it comes to finding a mate. Unfortunately, the
majority of the population's opinions revolve around "love is blind," or, "you might see them as 2, but their partners see them as a 10." Apparently, not many people out there want to...how should I say this...keep it real.

Personally, I have always been attracted to lean, muscular men. However, I must admit that this has went from a "must" to a "priority" ever since I began seriously training again. I mean let's face it - I can only picture myself with someone who shares a similar lifestyle. Chances are, if he follows the same regimine I do, he will also have a physically pleasing physique. Now obvioulsly this person must also be respectful, have a fun personality, etc. What I'm trying to say is that I'd never go out with a douchbag no matter how good he looked. And if someone gave me the option to be with an unattractive man who treated me "good" then guess what? I'd rather be alone. I'm absolutely happy by myself - having a partner I truly desire would only be a cherry on top.

So now that I've shared my opinion, my bodybuilding acquaintances, I'd like you to share yours too. What is important to you in a partner? Do looks matter? Do you prefer a fit physique as well? Tell us - no one is here to judge. Every person is unique, and don't let anyone sway your opinion no matter what. It's your life, your body. Tell us who you'd like to share it with.

LOL. You guys are hilarious. And I see someone even gave me a "bad" reputation. Oh no, my life is now ruined because I've been outcasted in this excuse for an internet community! Serves me right for trying to have an intellectual post with a bunch of maturity-challenged human (or should I say cyber) beings. Thanks for giving me my laugh of the day...losers.

Wow, you guys are all harsh!!! Whatever happened to, "hello and welcome"? Everyone is entitled to their opinions, desires and needs.

I'm going to turn this around to the guys who replied and ask them, if they were single... the question is....................... "what do you prefer in your mate personality and physical charcteristics?" See? It's an easy question to answer!

PS. I'm not taking sides or anything but merely restating a question without any of my personal opinion. =)

I use the 0 to 7 scale. 0 is a whore/prostitute, somebody than any one can nail. 7 would be someone like Megan Fox, super hot with no hope in hell of ever getting her. Me personally I'll take whatever I can get
I love getting high, I hate getting low, and I like to drive my truck down a muddy dirt road.

I'm a great believer in luck and I find that the harder I work, the more I have of it.

From my experience with women most of them are great in the beginning. As the relationship "grows"... I find myself wanting to stab myself in the eye with a fork!

Maybe this sounds a little narcissistic, but I share my body with myself. My wife gets the left overs.

Sounds shallow Diva. One day your going to fall in love with a fat manbear that showers you with love and flowers and you'll be trapped in manbear hell.

I respect what you say your not selling your self short and no one should unless you really actually fall in love with someone and it doesn't fit your ideal description of a mate. You know what you want and it is what it is. Props to you and knowing what you want some people think it might be a bit harsh but like you said you want someone with the same lifestyle as you.
